The M5Stack Echo Pyramid is a voice interaction base for M5Stack Atom boards, combining touch controls, audio processing, and speaker output for building voice-enabled projects.


The M5Stack Echo Pyramid is a smart audio base designed for voice interaction projects, built to work seamlessly with the M5Stack Atom, AtomS3, and AtomS3R controller series.

Designed for plug-and-play use, it provides a solid foundation for building voice-enabled devices. When paired with an Atom controller, it handles audio processing, wireless communication, control logic, and IoT connectivity, making it suitable for applications such as voice assistants, far-field voice recognition, and smart control systems.

At the core of the interaction system is a dedicated STM32G030 microcontroller, which manages dual capacitive touch-slider zones and RGB indicator LEDs. This enables responsive touch input alongside clear visual feedback, allowing users to easily understand system status, interaction results, and prompts.

The audio system is built for performance and clarity. It combines an ES8311 audio codec with an ES7210 microphone input chip featuring acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), helping to reduce noise and improve far-field voice capture. This setup supports reliable voice recognition and full-duplex interaction. For audio output, an AW87559 Class-D amplifier drives the onboard speaker, delivering clear sound with good dynamic range. A Si5351 programmable clock generator provides a stable, low-jitter clock signal for both ADC and DAC components, improving overall audio performance.

Echo Pyramid is well suited to a range of development scenarios, including smart speakers, desktop voice assistants, voice control hubs, and IoT voice gateways.
