The ANSMANN HC245PD is an intelligent 45W USB-PD charger for phones, laptops, tablets and other USB devices, including a USB-C port alongside a USB-A port. The charger supports Power Delivery (PD) and Quick Charge (QC) protocols, and the built-in Multisafe technology optimises and safeguards the user along with the connected devices.
The charger offers several power voltage modes from 5V to 20V, thanks to the 45W PD (Power Delivery) feature, which is available from the USB-C output only. The PD feature is compatible with PD3.0, PPS, QC3.0, QC2.0, AFC, FCP, DCP (USB-BC 1.2) and Apple-2.4A.
The USB-A port will always output 12W (5V 2.4A) regardless of the use of the USB-C port.
We don't recommend using this for a Raspberry Pi, as we always recommend Official Raspberry Pi power supplies for that usage (however, for Raspberry Pi 4 and earlier, this will likely work just fine). Also, despite offering 45W PD, this charger does not have the funky 5V 5A PD mode that the Pi 5 requires.
