The Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro is a Z-Wave flood/leak sensor with a sensor probe and built-in temperature and humidity sensor.

Battery-powered with a battery life of up to 5 years, this Z-Wave water sensor includes a probe for monitoring difficult-to-access areas.

Once connected to your Z-Wave-enabled home automation system, this sensor can help you take protective measures to help limit the amount of damage caused by drips, leaks, bursts or other water flows. For example in the event of a pipe burst, use the trigger from this sensor to instruct other devices to take action, such as smart water valves, including those installed on the mains pipe, to automatically close - or just send yourself a notification to deal with the problem as soon as possible!

Monitoring more than just the presence of liquid, the Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro lives up to its name by also being able to monitor the absence of water. When used to monitor tanks or pits, the Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro can alert you when water levels get too low and trigger automation routines.

The Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro also monitors your room's temperature and humidity, allowing you to use this data to control and manage connected heating or cooling systems. With real-time humidity monitoring, the smart device can be used to automatically manage a room's air quality, activating extractor fans and humidifiers or dehumidifiers.

Compatible with a range of home automation systems, including Home Assistant once paired with a Z-Wave hub such as the Aeotec Z-Pi-7. The sensor features Z-Wave Plus V2, S2 wireless security and SmartStart installation.

You will need a Z-Wave hub/existing Z-Wave network to use this device.
