The AeotecDoor/Window Sensor 7 Pro goes way beyond basic open/close detection.
Built on Z-Wave Gen7, this clever sensor adds built-in tilt monitoring for tilt-and-turn windows and features internal dry contact terminals. This gives you the flexibility to wire in older external sensors, hook up a physical switch, or hardwire it to a permanent power supply so you never have to change a battery again.
You will need a Z-Wave hub/existing Z-Wave network to use this device.

While both the standard Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7 and the 7 Pro offer ultra-reliable Z-Wave Plus Gen7 open/close detection, the Pro model unlocks advanced capabilities for power users.
The 7 Pro features a built-in spatial sensor to detect the exact angle of European-style tilt-and-turn windows, plus internal dry contact terminals that allow you to bridge wired third-party sensors or physical switches into your Z-Wave network. It even gives you the option to hardwire the unit to a permanent 3.3V power supply, eliminating battery changes entirely.
