The Waveshare active cooling heatsink is designed to optimise the performance of your Raspberry Pi 5 by keeping the critical components cool.
The heatsink offers efficient cooling with a minimal footprint, connecting to the board via the dedicated Raspberry Pi 5 heatsink mounting points. The tall heatsink fins move heat away from your Pi, assisted by the cooling fan.
The fan connects to the dedicated Raspberry Pi 5 fan header, meaning all your GPIO pins are left free for your project, and offers software-controlled fan speeds.
The heatsink also comes bundled with thermal pads, ensuring reliable heat transfer from your Raspberry Pi.
