I built a ground plane ariel, cost me less than £3 I was getting a range of 125 miles from that, thinking buying one would greatly improve range, I was wrong, an extra 15 miles, more than disapointed mounted in the same place too.

Excellent antenna at a decent price, the ones on Amazon were more, nice bracket and U-bolts for installation to an extender pole. I installed mine onto an aluminium pole I had spare in the shed then onto a bespoke bracket that fixed to the chimney(see photo)overall very pleased with the purchase.

Without doubt the best performing 1090 MHz antenna for ADS-B I have ever used having tried many others before. So good I now have two of them. Highly recommended and good value. Works great indoors or outdoors.

I have used other antenna and this is definelty one of the best. Easily installed. With my previous shop bought antenna, I was only getting half the range.

60cm 1090MHz Antenna for ADS-B
Wow! What a difference. After carefully thinking about installation fof a few days, I installed it yesterday on the top of a Velux window above my office. See photo. Initially the pole was two feet in length, which would have taken it over the ridge but there was too much stress on the panel. I had to reinforce the mounting, I am in Cornwall at 300 feet above sea level. and it gets very windy down here. The performance is amazing and today it reached 235nm over France!. I am also picking up planes over the west of Ireland. I am feeding into Flightradar24.
I elected not to use your cable in preference to the LMR-240 as recommended in one of your reviews. The cable length is 3m. My equipment is a Pi 3b+ using Flightradar's Pi24. Overall exceeding expectations by a log way!

Very nicely made. Good solid materials and has doubled the range over the homebrew coaxial colinear. Super fast delivery and superb service from the piHutt :)
