This is a mini COB (Chip On Board) LED light, in the shape of a star - fun!
These special decorative LEDs have two tabs for connecting 3V and GND using crocodile clips, with a central hole on each tab to solder a wire permanently if required. If you look closely, there's a small '-' on one of the tabs indicating the GND connection.
The LEDs draw around 100mA, so be sure to calculate the right resistor to protect both your COB LED and power source. From a 2xAA battery pack (roughly 3V) we used a 20Ω resistor just to keep a tab on things.
They're technically semi-flexible - but please don't try to bend or twist these as they'll almost definitely break, but they do have a rubber-dubbery grippy kind of quality to them.
The light is visible on both sides, but one side (the front) is slightly warmer and more diffused - but hey, use them however you like!
