Around the edge of the mat are pockets for your components, tools and parts, including two magnetic pods which are perfect for holding small metal fixings. To the side of the main working area is a grid of slots for small parts, ideal for SMT components.
The top edge of the mat also contains holes for small, light precision screwdrivers, helping you to maintain focus with everything you need to hand. There's also a magnetic centre on the top tool slot for securely laying metal tools. The mat grips most desk surfaces well, ensuring stability when undertaking fine soldering work.
