This large e-paper HAT for the Raspberry Pi features a 3.7" 480x280 screen with partial refresh support, low power usage, wide viewing angles and an excellent paper-like effect.

The HAT can fit on any 2x20 pin Raspberry Pi (Pi4, Pi 3, Pi Zero) and requires no soldering. It uses an SPI interface, reducing the number of GPIO pins used whilst also allowing it to be used with other microcontrollers such as the Arduino. This is further supported by the onboard voltage translator, making it compatible with 3.3V and 5V controllers.

Features

  • No backlight, keeps displaying last content for a long time even when powered down
  • Ultra low power consumption, power is only required for refreshing
  • Standard Raspberry Pi 40-pin GPIO header
  • SPI interface, for connecting with controller boards like Raspberry Pi, Arduino etc.
  • Onboard voltage translator, compatible with 3.3V / 5V MCUs
  • Comes with online development resources and manual
