Easily add a clear and colourful display to your Raspberry Pi Pico project with this 2" IPS LCD 65K RGB display from Waveshare!

With the included Raspberry Pi Pico C/C++ examples, getting started with this screen is quick and easy. There's also no soldering required with this LCD display - just slot your Pico into the female headers on the rear and you're good to go!

4 programmable buttons can be found on each corner of this IPS display, giving you lots of interface control options for your project. They're already connected to the Pico's GPIO pins too (pins 2, 3, 15 and 17).

This display uses an embedded ST7789VW driver, which uses the SPI bus to communicate with your Pico using just the 4 pins (leaving the majority of your Pico pins free for other things!).

We also have our own set of tutorials teaching you how to use these displays with MicroPython:

Note: Raspberry Pi Pico not included. You'll need a Pico with male headers soldered to it. You can grab a Pico here and Pico male headers here, or buy a Pico with pre-soldered headers.

2" IPS LCD Display for Raspberry Pi Pico (320x240)
This is my fourth purchase of a Waveshare display for the Raspberry Pi Pico from ThePiHut. It is very bright, clear and colourful with a massive number of pixels. That is what causes a bit of a problem. The screen framebuffer has to be 320x240x2 bytes long (153600 bytes) and this uses up so much memory that there is little left for your additional libraries and program. I have written an Instructable about how to use the display and you can find it here: https://www.instructables.com/WaveShare-2-IPS-LCD-Display-for-Raspberry-Pi-Pico-/ This provides easy access to the excellent and easy to use driver and shows you how to produce graphics on the screen. There is a video showing what I have managed to achieve using it, with the code. The buttons are useful and easy to use. I've found the 1.8" (160×128 resolution) the most useful of the four displays - it is easy to add your own buttons, on the pins you want. I hope you find this useful and enjoy your coding Tony Goodhew
