This 16-channel relay module is designed for demanding control environments, supporting both Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols over dual Ethernet ports. It features PoE power support, cascade communication, and comes housed in a durable ABS rail-mount case for straightforward DIN rail installation.
The module includes optocoupler isolation to protect against high-voltage interference and a reverse-proof circuit to guard against incorrect wiring. The relays are driven by a dedicated chip with flyback diode protection, and are rated for up to 10A at 250VAC or 30VDC.
Multiple power options are available: 7–36V DC input via screw terminal, a direct DC barrel connector, or IEEE 802.3af-compliant PoE. Network setup is flexible, with support for DHCP, DNS, and configuration via software or web interface. Communication modes include TCP Server/Client, UDP, Multicast, HTTP, and MQTT, with a working demo for Alibaba Cloud MQTT.
Relay control supports delayed open/close functions, and commands can be issued via Ethernet using Modbus RTU/TCP. LED indicators provide visual feedback for relay status and network activity.
