Raspberry Pi Power Supplies
When it comes to powering your Raspberry Pi, we always recommend using an Official Raspberry Power Supply.
If you want to guarantee a steady, quality supply of power to your projects without drop-outs or random restarts, we strongly recommend using the power supply that was designed for the board, by the same people who designed the board!
The latest Raspberry Pi 5 requires the 27W USB-C power supply with its 5V 5A PD mode, to ensure you enable the full performance of the board. Other Raspberry Pi models use either USB-C or Micro-USB power supplies - view each board's product page to see the recommended Raspberry Pi PSU.
That being said, mobile projects and other similar use cases sometimes call for a different approach, especially when there aren't any plug sockets around! For these projects we stock a range of other power options and accessories to help you make your project a reality - such as Raspberry Pi PoE equipment, power/adapter cables, Power HATs and more.
