Whilst you can buy adapters with a fixed configuration, this USB adapter kit allows building up any mix of male/female and A/micro-USB adapter by just plugging them together with the included pins!

You can also use them as breakout boards giving access to 5V, USB D+/N-, inject or isolate 5V, as a tap to measure current etc by using your own 2.54mm pitch connectors.

Of the 6 pins on the connector boards, two are used for 5V and two for ground, to help reduce voltage drop when using higher currents. Make sure you align the pin numbering with each adapter when joining.

The kit contains the following connector boards and pin headers:
