This is a USB sound card from Waveshare with a built-in stereo codec for the Raspberry Pi and the Jetson Nano. It supports recording and playback and features a built-in microphone and PH2.0 header for compatible speakers (sold separately).
To make integration easy, this sound card is driver-free, making it plug and play!

Works straight out of the box even on old 3B Pi, stereo enclosed speaker set also good. Excellent after sales support from PiHut on previous purchases too.

NO documentation came with it, still trying to sort it out so that I can use it as a microphone and not just with speakers. No YT videos available for help, and with everything I've purchased so far including the Pi5 bundle the Rasberry Pi5 and components are NOT worth buying AT ALL.

This was cheaper than many so called copies however this is was perfect in design and quality and functionality can’t fault this at all .

I've yet to test the item, but was surprized that it didn't have the usual two 3.5mm jack sockets - I had to separately order the 4-pin rectangular plug. Perhaps theis could be included at a small extra cost?

USB Sound card for Raspberry Pi (Driver-free)
Easy to use, just plug into USB. Capable of driving low power speakers directly, which is exactly what I wanted. The microphone picks up some background electrical noise, but no worse than I expected.
