This little guy slots inside the USB connector on your cable/device and converts it to USB-C for uploading sketches and more! Simple, handy and teeny-tiny! The shim downgrades the connection to USB 2.0/2.1 as it's a simple 4-pin OTG adapter.

You can also use these with USB-C smartphones. We also sell a micro-USB version.

  • Not recommended for purely powering USB-C devices - intended for data/USB connections only
  • Plug this into your USB device first, ensuring that the 4 gold pins are facing the 4 contacts within the USB connector
  • NEVER plug this into a female USB port (such as on your Raspberry Pi or PC)
