Ultrasonic Distance Sensor - 3V or 5V - HC-SR04 compatible (RCWL-1601)
Great alternative to the usual 5V versions for using on a Pico - also a little bit smaller. Super simple to use.

Ultrasonic Distance Sensor - 3V or 5V - HC-SR04 compatible (RCWL-1601)
This sensor works well for guaranteeing 3.3v compatibility for distance sensors with controllers. Hwoever, the dimensions for mounting the sensor (the cans, vs the board) are not widely available and it's not physically the same as the HC-SR04. More widely availabel dimensions, and seeing more stokcists carry brackets for this sensor would be great.

Use this sensor to guarantee it’s going to work with 3.3v devices. They work well anywhere you’d use an hc-sr04.

Ultrasonic Distance Sensor - 3V or 5V - HC-SR04 compatible (RCWL-1601)
Whilst NOT the same size as an HC-SR04, this sensor appears to work well with a 3v3 ESP32, and is manufactured to a good standard. It's dearer than an HC-SR04, but more versatile, given its extended supply voltage range. I would have given this product a 5 star rating, but feel that the web site is misleading, by stating that it is compatible with an HC-SR04. You have to drop down the description before you see the note relating to size. Hence it was only when I received the part, that I realise that I would now have to modify my project. Less about Dolphins please, and more about basic dimensions would be my advice to Pi Hut. I attach a photo of it mounted in my latest project.

Ultrasonic Distance Sensor - 3V or 5V - HC-SR04 compatible (RCWL-1601)
These are really great, cheap sensors. The project I am working on required a 3V distance sensor and I found the Time of Flight sensors were far too unreliable with any ambient light and the other 3V ultrasonic sensor I tried (the US-16 I think?) was terrible by comparison. It really struggled to pick up small obstacles (like a hand) even at short distances. This has a really nice reliable range. I feel like it is better than the classic 5V HC-SR04 but it has been a while since I have used one. Anyway, was very pleasantly surprised! Would recommend!
