This desoldering Pump makes it easy to remove molten solder from joints and through-holes, helping you clean up mistakes, repair circuits, and rework PCBs with less hassle.
Strangely enough, that's the technical term for this desoldering vacuum tool. Useful in cleaning up mistakes, every electrical engineer has one of these on their desk.
To use the desoldering pump, press the plunger down until it locks to create a vacuum. Heat the solder joint until the solder becomes fully molten. While holding the pump in your other hand, place the plastic tip as close to the molten solder as possible and press the release button to draw the solder into the pump. If any solder remains, remove it with desoldering wick.
