The ShellyDimmer Gen4 is a single-channelsmart dimming controller with the Gen4 Shelly chip, offering multiprotocol support - Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee and Matter-certified - allowing you to integrate it into a wide range of home automation systems without needing a hub - including Home Assistant!
The controller can support dimmable LED lamps up to 150W, incandescent bulbs up to 200W, halogen lamps up to 200W, iron-core transformers with low-voltage incandescent lamps up to 200VA, and dimmable electronic transformers up to 200W. It provides fine-tuning of the light’s response speed when adjusting brightness, and fine-tuning of the light’s fade time when toggling on or off.
Power metering is also included - voltage, current and consumption information is displayed when the device is used with neutral.
You don't need a neutral wire to use the Shelly Dimmer Gen4, allowing greater flexibility for different wiring setups (Note: a Shelly Bypass for Dimmer is required when the device is used without neutral and the load is under 20W).

Use the device only with a power grid and appliances which comply with all applicable regulations. Short circuit in the power grid or any appliance connected to the device may damage the device.
Before starting, wire check that the breakers are turned off and there is no voltage on their terminals. This can be done with a phase meter or multimeter. When you are sure that there is no voltage, you can start wiring the cables.
