It's natively compatible with Bluetooth, and can be instantly included on the Shelly app through Bluetooth pairing for a simple and pain-free first-time setup, as well as linked with external sensors like the Shelly BLU H&T Bluetooth temperature and humidity sensor, or the Shelly BLU Door and Window Sensor for a fully smart heating and cooling system.
The TRV can also connect to your wider Shelly network over WiFi by using the includedShelly USB Gateway, offering a bridge between WiFi and Bluetooth devices to communicate (or use another close-by WiFi-enabled Shelly Plus, Pro or Gen3 device as a gateway). Once connected to your Shelly network, you can use it with your Shelly smart home ecosystem, including the Shelly Smart Control app - or link it with a popular home automation software such as Home Assistant via a Raspberry Pi!
The TRV is powered by two includedAA 1.5V batteries, with an extremely low battery usage profile and a lifespan of up to two years on a single set of batteries.
