Time to go retro! Did you ever own a Nixie tube back in the day? Did you enjoy it, but it didn't last as long as you wanted? Then behold, the Pseudo Nixie Tube Clock for your Raspberry Pi Zero.
Let's be clear - these are not nixie tubes - this clever kit uses six 1.14" LCDs to produce a lovely warm nixie-style display encased in quartz glass, which can be easily set up using the provided example code. Each of the LCDs has an RGB LED on the rear to backlight your clock too! The case frame is made of metal, with an acrylic top and bottom.
It's packing some extra features too - the internal board includes a BME280 environmental sensor to monitor temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. It also contains a built-in RTC (Real-time Clock) which will provide accurate timekeeping even when the system isn't connected to the internet. You also have four rear buttons to control the unit.
It can be powered by the USB-C port, and comes with a header to easily connect to your Zero and set it up however you like! You don't just have to have it as a clock, you can create your own program to turn it into a counter, timer, or any other data you wish to display!
