This is a nice solution to wanting to use PS/2 devices (such as our capacitive touch pad or magstripe readers). It's also handy if you want to connect a keyboard and mouse to a Raspberry Pi or Beagle Bone without taking up two USB ports. Inside is a full translation chip - a small USB microcontroller that will translate the PS/2 into "USB Keyboard" and "USB Mouse"

We tested this with a Pi, Bone, Linux, Windows and Mac desktop computer and they all worked flawlessly.

PS/2 Keyboard+Mouse to USB adapter
Quick and well-packaged delivery. The adapter worked immediately without any problem when coupled to an AT keyboard with an AT-to-PS/2 adapter.

PS/2 Keyboard+Mouse to USB adapter
A very handy item, this adapter allows an old PS/2 keyboard and/or mouse to be used with the Raspberry Pi. As it works as intended, I am planning to purchase another because I am now using it on my main PC as well, to replace the wireless keyboard/mouse (a key cap broke on the keyboard) which although had less clutter required feeding with batteries regularly. With one of these I can use old PS/2 units which don't use batteries!

I just wonder what you can say about something which works as it should and is almost ubiquitous. I have at least one other of these,of another manufactureer, installed another computer which refused to have PS2 ports. That also works wonderfully too. I even have at least on of the other gender of these ojn something. I have forgotten where and by whom these items were supplied as I am sure in a couple of weeks I will have forgotten about these. Someone said to me ages ago that you only remember the things that don't work, or are unreliable. These are not of that category.
