The M5Stack StamPLC PoE adds wired Ethernet and PoE to the StamPLC host using a W5500 controller with TCP/IP stack, 8 hardware sockets, 10/100M MAC+PHY, and TCP/UDP support. It connects via RJ45 and communicates over SPI for stable real-time control.
The M5Stack StamPLC PoE is an Ethernet control module designed for the StamPLC host, adding reliable wired networking with PoE (Power over Ethernet) support. This allows both data transmission and power delivery through a single Ethernet cable, helping simplify installation and reduce extra wiring.
The module integrates a W5500 embedded Ethernet controller with a built-in TCP/IP protocol stack, providing 8 independent hardware sockets along with a 10/100M Ethernet data link layer (MAC) and physical layer (PHY). It supports mainstream network communication methods, including UDP and TCP.
Network connection is handled via an RJ45 Ethernet interface, while communication with the StamPLC host is done over SPI. Designed for stable, real-time wired networking, it’s well suited to demanding applications such as industrial automation production lines, centralised building control systems, energy and power distribution monitoring, and data centre and communication equipment management.
