PD Power Extension Board for Raspberry Pi 5

The PD Power Expansion board from 52Pi is a multi-feature power management solution for Raspberry Pi 5.

The board offers a range of power input options, such as USB-C PD, 1.7mm DC 9-24V and even a set of VIN pads. Output power enjoys similar flexibility, including USB-C out (5V 5A), ATX 4-pin, and 5V output pads.

There's also an always-ON switch which allows you to select to start the device automatically when power is connected, without the need to press the power button.

Finally, the onboard power button can be used for manual power control. A short-press turns power on, a long-press cuts it off.

We recommend using the Raspberry Pi 27W USB-C power supply when powering via USB-C. You may also want to pick up a DC adapter cable, as the compact 1.7mm jack on this board isn't as common as the usual 2.1mm barrel jacks you see everywhere.

Warning: Do not connect multiple input power options at the same time.
