The M5Stack LoRa + GNSS Cap 1262 is a communication expansion module for the M5Stack Cardputer Adv, combining LoRa wireless communication with GNSS global positioning in one unit. It connects via an expansion interface, connecting to the top of the Cardputer Adv (hence the "cap" 🧢 name).

The LoRa side is based on the SX1262 chip and uses an external SMA antenna for stronger anti-interference performance and long-range communication. It supports the 868-923 MHz frequency band, along with FSK, GFSK, MSK, GMSK, LoRa and OOK modulation modes, with receiving sensitivity down to -147 dBm in LoRa low data rate mode and maximum transmission power of +20 dBm.

For positioning, the module uses an AT6668-based GNSS solution with a built-in ceramic antenna for accurate, reliable satellite positioning. It supports multi-frequency, multi-system reception across GPS, QZSS, BD2, BD3, GAL and GLO, with support for both combined multi-system positioning and single-system independent positioning.
