This is an Infrared Proximity Sensor - great for adding obstacle avoidance functionality to your Arduino robot project!

The sensor emits a beam of light and receives the reflected beam back, which is then used to calculate distance from a nearby object. The sensitivity can be adjusted using the onboard potentiometer.

A 4-pin XH2.54 wire is included, which has female jumper ends for connecting to your microcontroller.

Features

  • Emitting a beam of infrared, and receive the reflected beam
  • Features wide-range voltage comparator LM393
  • Adjustable sensitivity
  • Signal output indicator

Package Contents

  • 1x Infrared Proximity Sensor
  • 1x XH2.54 4-pin wire
