This is a 16x2 LCD display with an I2C interface. It is able to display 16x2 characters on 2 lines and features white characters on blue background.

Usually, Arduino LCD display projects will run out of pin resources easily, especially with Arduino Uno. It can also be very complicated with the wire soldering and connections. This I2C 16x2 Arduino LCD Screen is using an I2C communication interface, meaning it only needs 4 pins from your microcontroller for the LCD display to run: VCC, GND, SDA, SCL.

The display comes with a 'Gadgeteer' cable which you'll probably not need as the Gadgeteer wiring system is no longer produced! The display does not come with a dedicated cable for the I2C connection - we just use standard jumper wires instead.

It will save at least 4 digital/analog pins on your Arduino. All connectors are standard XH2.54 (Breadboard type).

I2C 16x2 Arduino LCD Display Module
Bright and easy to read with a fairly wide viewing angle - easy to set up and use in Arduino with good library support, and only uses a minimal number of precious pins - 10/10!

got it quickly. It is still not working but it might be my code - work with the last I2C but maybe this one has different address for some reason (DIP switch are identical)

I2C 16x2 Arduino LCD Display Module
Arrived quickly but it has taken me 2 days to get it working properly. There were several links on your website but nowhere could I find a reference to the interface library. The DFRobot website has some useful information and what purported to be a link to the library was, in fact, just a collection of sample code. There were copies of what appeared to be the library code but they didn't work properly. I eventually fixed that by correcting the 'library' code and things started working. The device is probably OK but the documentation is awful.
