This GPIO Edge Extension is a handy add-on for your Raspberry Pi GPIO pins that provides both a vertical and horizontal GPIO extensions.

Having the horizontal GPIO pins alongside the usual vertical header offers more flexibility for GPIO access (from the side), whilst also giving you duplicate pins for each GPIO (be aware this is a simple extender - there is no software or controller, so you can't use the same IO pin twice for two different functions).

The edge extension will work on any 40-pin (2x20) Raspberry Pi i.e. Raspberry Pi 5, 4, 3B+, 3A+. 3, 2 , B+ and the Pi Zero family.
