The M5Stack Unit Fingerprint2 is a UART-based fingerprint module with onboard STM32 control, capacitive sensing and a built-in algorithm for dry/wet fingers — ideal for access control, authentication and smart security projects.
The M5Stack Unit Fingerprint2 is a high-performance fingerprint recognition module that integrates an STM32 core controller and an A-K323CP all-in-one fingerprint sensor. It uses a semiconductor capacitive sensor and supports fingerprint acquisition, feature extraction, registration, comparison, storage and retrieval. The built-in algorithm is designed to recognise both dry and wet fingers, offering reliable performance across different conditions.
The module provides flexible fingerprint data management, strong data security and fast search capabilities. It communicates over UART, making it easy to integrate with a wide range of main control platforms. A multicolour LED ring and power indicator are included for clear visual feedback and status prompts.
The Fingerprint2 unit is suited to quick development and integration in applications such as smart door locks, access control systems, attendance terminals, identity authentication, financial devices and small security products.
