The DDR5 RAM SPD I2C Adapter Plank makes it easy to read and write the SPD chip on DDR5 UDIMM and SODIMM computer memory modules in offline mode with your Bus Pirate 5 or Bus Pirate 6. Use the Bus Pirate ddr5 command to read and write the SPD EEPROM on a DDR5 module, or follow the DDR5 device demo to learn about the technical details.
The board voltage regulation and level translation, and has everything you need to play with DDR5 without soldering. The plank provides the correct voltage levels and pinouts to interface with a DDR5 SPD chip in offline mode.
The ddr55 command can probe, read, write, and unlock the SPD hub chip in DDR5 SDRAM computer memory modules (UDIMM, SODIMM):
DDR5 SPD dumps can be edited with a HEX editor or a dedicated SPD editor GUI like DDR5SPDEditor.
Warning: Use the DDR5 adapter at your own risk. Don’t experiment with expensive high capacity, high speed, overclocker-special DDR5.
