This camera uses the Arducam PiVariety system, which takes full advantage of Raspberry Pi’s ISP functions to give improved performance and flexibility in camera and lens options. Unlike the official camera modules, this bypasses the limitations of closed-source drivers, enabling access to advanced ISP features such as Auto Exposure, Auto White Balance, Auto Gain Control, and Lens Shading Correction for improved image quality. It is equipped with the 2.2MP Mira220 mono global shutter sensor and its 1/2.7" sensor captures fast-moving objects with clarity, operating at up to 30 frames per second.
The low-distortion M12 lens gives you more accurate images, while high near-infrared sensitivity (940nm) lets it see a lot better in low-light conditions. Compatible with most Raspberry Pi models (see the features for a full list), this camera module is ideal for a wide range of camera projects!
