The Raspberry Pi Monitor includes a built-in stand, which is great for quick setups and use on the go, however many of us require a greater range of adjustment and height when using a Raspberry Pi as a daily driver.
We're stocking this affordable adjustable desk stand to give us just that! Complete with 100mm VESA mounts, a weighty base with soft rubber feet and stiff adjustable angles, it's a low-cost option to make your Raspberry Pi Monitor desktop worthy.
All fixings are included too, because not many of us have M4 VESA bolts lying around the house!
We highly recommend reading the important notes below and checking out the images before purchasing, as the somewhat uncommon VESA position on the Raspberry Pi Monitor means some of the stand's metalwork is on show. Some won't care at this price point - some won't be able to live with it - but we'd rather you make an informed purchase either way.

Important Notes
- Do not adjust the stand with one hand, or by holding the Raspberry Pi Monitor - always adjust with two hands, holding the stand sections only, or you will damage your monitor.
- Due to the unusually low positioning of the Raspberry Pi Monitor's VESA mounting points (they're usually in the middle of monitors), some of the stand's metal parts are visible (see image below), so please consider if this is a deal-breaker for you before making a purchase.

Assembly
- Extend the stand as upright and straight as possible before starting
- Remove the white plastic rear cover
- Pass your power/HDMI cables through the plastic cover
- Flip the stand up fully on your Raspberry Pi Monitor
- Attach the power/HDMI cables to your display
- Fit your monitor to the stand using the larger screws
- Push the plastic cover back onto the stand
- Use the smaller black screws to secure the cover
- Only ever adjust the stand using two hands and the thicker sections of the monitor.

Adjustable Desk Stand for Raspberry Pi Monitor
Excellent stand. As expected it was too big really for the Waveshare 10.1 screen, and the mounting holes didn't line up properly. However I was able to bodge it well enough to test the screen in different positions on the (boat) dashboard for a couple of days before moving it to the big screen down on the chart table, where it is perfect.

Adjustable Desk Stand for Raspberry Pi Monitor
The adjustable desk stand works well with the the Raspberry Pi monitor, the only concern I have is how stiff the adjustable joints are, and, the tension being non adjustable, worried me about damaging the monitor when adjusting the height and angle. Can I suggest some method of adjusting the joints tension, by means of knobs or screws would be a a good modification/update and spare my nerves.

Adjustable Desk Stand for Raspberry Pi Monitor
The first issue was the short (have to be) screws that hold the plastic cover over the mounting plate. One screw refused to bite, until I realised that although the metal plate looked flat, even a fraction of a mm would stop the screw starting to bite. I used pliers to tweak that corner of the metal plate by a fraction of a mm, and then all 4 screws would fit.
The stand is stiff, so for adjustment, I lay the monitor flat on th desk on its floam sleeve, before adjustong.
The best reason for the stand, is its large heavy base, which makes the monitor very stable.

Adjustable Desk Stand for Raspberry Pi Monitor
The stand does its job to get the monitor in the best viewing position. Of course, it is important that the stand doesn't become slack over time but the two degrees of adjustment are very stiff to change and great care is needed to avoid damaging the monitor. Attaching the stand plate to the back of the rpi monitor was simple but the four black screws supplied to fit the plastic cover over the plate were a fraction too short. The bottom two went in, which was sufficient to hold the cover in place but I couldn't get the top two screws to stay in. Frustrating but doesn't affect the stands operation.

Adjustable Desk Stand for Raspberry Pi Monitor
The stand is clearly meant for a much larger screen. That having been said, it fits the Pi screen and is very solid. Another reviewer has mentioned the stand hinges are very strong, and some force is required to move the hinges into position. Be careful here that you don't put too much force on the screen. When set up it does a very good job and it looks great.
Another thing to mention is that part of the metal frame of the stand is visible. Don't let that put you off. I 3D printed a cover for this, I printed it in red and it looks perfect. It makes the stand look as though it was designed exclusively for the Pi Monitor. It's just a shame I can't upload a photo to show you.
I would happily recommend this product.

Full marks for a solid, weighty base, but the I feel the pivot hinges are a bit too strong for the Raspberry Pi screen which is of lightweight construction.
