When noise or slow switching speeds are an issue, MOSFETS can make an excellent alternative for switching DC loads. This 4-channel MOSFET Driver breakout has four independent circuits perfect for controlling solenoids, small pumps, relays, motors, heating pads, LED strips and other higher current applications (5A continuous per channel, 7.5A max for the board overall due to terminal block ratings).
Each channel has an LED indicator showing when it is triggered and an integrated snub diode to protect your device from any power spikes caused by inductive loads. Each LED can be disabled via a solder jumper on the underside.
To use this board, simply connect the power source you would like to switch to the two-pin screw terminal. The 6-pin Molex header handles the control side of the circuit. Setting each pin HIGH will power on its respective circuit. VCC (power in) is also available in this header; this is directly connected to the positive input from the screw terminals, and should be left disconnected unless it is being used to power an external device.
The breakout board is sized to fit directly in a Hammond 1591 small enclosure. Perfect for making a clean, enclosed control box. Enclosure not included (unfortunately, we no longer stock Hammond enclosures).
