The 2-channel CAN Bus HAT is made for those looking to expand their Raspberry Pi capabilities with multiple CAN channels. This HAT has a dual chip using MCP2515 and SN65HVD230, allowing for 2-channel CAN communication. Its stackable design gives you access to the expansion of multiple CAN channels by combining with other 2-channel CAN HATs or 2-channel CAN FD HAT units. The HAT+ is compatible with various Raspberry Pi models, including the Raspberry Pi 5, 4, 3, Zero, and Jetson Nano.

This expansion HAT has several protection circuits to provide safe and reliable communication, including electrical isolation. The unibody power supply isolation delivers stable isolated voltage without the need for an additional power supply for the isolated terminal. A digital isolator provides signal isolation, enhancing communication safety, stability, and anti-interference capabilities.

The external power supply terminal supports a wide voltage input range of 7 to 36V, which can simultaneously power both the Raspberry Pi and the HAT, making it suitable for industrial projects. Additionally, the SM24CANB TVS diode offers ESD and transient peak voltage protection, adding an extra layer of safety to your setup.
