The Arducam 16MP IMX519 (NOIR) high-resolution camera module for Raspberry Pi offers a high-quality night photography option for those looking to upgrade from other NoIR modules.
Update! Now comes with two cables, so that you can use this on any raspberry Pi with a DSI camera connector, including Raspberry Pi 5!
With a resolution of 16 megapixels, a stock lens, a V2-like form factor and boatloads of improvements, the camera provides a better choice for all sorts of projects and applications.
NoIR Cameras have No InfraRed filter on the lens which makes them perfect for shooting Infrared photography and taking pictures in low light (twilight) environments. NoIR cameras require the target to be flooded with IR light to be able to see at night (otherwise you'll get a mostly black picture!). Day photography isn't ideal with NoIR cameras either - so be sure to pick the ideal camera for your project's needs.
The package contains a camera board with a Sony IMX519 sensor, a stock lens and two FPC cables (one for Pi 4 and earlier, one for Pi 5/Zero).
A compatible case is available, which will allow you to mount the camera using screws or a tripod, whilst also providing protection!
Please make sure you are running the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS.
For Bullseye users running on a Pi 0 ~ 3, please also:
This camera module is compatible with all Raspberry Pi boards with a camera connector (CSI connector), as the two included flex cables cover all versions.
