Panel Mounting Enclosure for Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 7"

So you've got a shiny new Touch Display 2 (7" version) fitted to a Raspberry Pi 5, and you want to mount it on a wall or within a panel. Not easy - especially considering the delicate nature of the display - but this product might help.

Not compatible with the smaller 5" Touch Display 2.

This enclosure is unique in that it isn't designed to work very well as a 'traditional' case - it doesn't stand up on its own, and the top/bottom mounting holes are oddly M4 size (not 1/4" for a tripod). What it is good at is giving you an easy way to panel or wall mount, thanks to the lip around the outside, and the rear M2.5 threaded inserts.

Assemble your Raspberry Pi 5 and Touch Display 2 inside the case, then either:

• Cut a hole big enough for the rear boxed section that the Pi 5 lives in, then screw in from behind the panel with long M2.5 fixings (into the corner threaded inserts)
• Cut a hole to match the outside dimensions of the case - minus the thin outer lip - and flush mount (using whatever works best to secure it in place)
• Fix it to one of the upper/lower M4 threads - be it a rod, M4 tripod adapter (coming to the store soon) or...something else!
• 3D print your own case design to work with the display dimensions - flush or not. The M2.5 and M4 threads might come in handy for this.

We see this as a 'helper' for those wanting to wall or flush mount their Touch Display 2, holding everything together with some options for mounting. We can't wait to see what you do with it!

Assembly tips

• Assemble your Raspberry Pi 5 to your Touch Display 2 first
  • Remove any Micro SD cards
• Pop the silicone button insert into the case, with that section downwards so it can't fall out
• Slide your display/Pi assembly into the case, steering the Ethernet ports in first
  • Check the silicone insert hasn't fallen out!
• Secure with four screws (you'll have these in your package)
