Arducam 12MP IMX708 USB UVC Fixed-Focus Camera Module with Microphone

This upgraded camera module from Arducam uses the same 12MP Sony IMX708 sensor found in the official Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3, combining it with a convenient USB UVC connection, autofocus lens, HDR support and a tough metal enclosure.

The USB UVC connection allows you to use the camera much like a standard USB webcam, offering convenient plug-and-play operation across Raspberry Pi, Windows, Linux, macOS and more, without the need for additional camera drivers.

This upgraded B030401 version adds HDR for improved image quality in challenging lighting conditions, helping retain detail in both bright and dark areas of the image. Its autofocus lens offers a focus range from approximately 10cm to infinity, making it suitable for everything from close-up projects to general-purpose imaging.

The camera is housed in a sturdy metal enclosure, providing additional protection as well as improved heat dissipation for extended use.

Video performance has also been improved over the previous version, with support for the full 4608×2592 sensor resolution at up to 15fps, 4K (3840×2160) at up to 25fps and a range of 30fps resolutions. The camera supports both MJPG and YUY2 output formats, alongside additional pre-set YUV resolutions ideal for AI and machine vision applications.

The camera comes with a 1m USB cable (USB-A to 4-pin header).
