Opto-isolation is a great way to protect sensitive circuits or ensure physical separation. These opto-isolated relay breakout boards are very similar to our standard 2-channel relay breakout boards, with one key difference: it completely isolates your relay circuit from your control circuit through an opto-isolator. These are a must when sensitive electronics are used or where the operation of the logic side is critical to other systems.

This version of the board uses 5V relays and can be triggered with logic signals from 3.3V to 24VDC – ideal for low voltage applications and other systems that have 5VDC power available but need to switch to higher current or higher voltage devices. The board uses high-quality North American-sourced parts and features a boatload of isolation routing. Each relay can switch up to 10A / 250VAC and has the Input, Normally Open, and Normally Closed contact broken out to a nice 5mm pitch screw terminal. Indicator LEDs show the status of the relay coil, when lit the coil is active.
