This USB 3.2 Gen1 to Gigabit Ethernet wired Internet module incorporates a Realtek RTL8153 high-performance controller which features multi-systems compatibility, driver-free, plug-and-play functionality, and support for Win7/8/8.1/10, Mac, Linux, and Android.

The module allows you to add a low-latency, stable, Gigabit Ethernet connection to devices that have no Ethernet port or has a broken network card. The package comes with a module and a USB cable.

Simply plug this module into any USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, and plug an ethernet cable to the other end and you have Ethernet! Network bandwidth will suffer when this device is used with a USB 2.0 port.

Plug and play, no issues at all. Mine came encased, which is ugly but I suppose protective. I'd rather be looking at the toys inside, TBH.

Does what it says on the tin. I've used three of these to build a firewall/router out of a RPi4B, and they do the job without any fuss. That said, the unit would be improved by being cased.

USB 3.2 to Gigabit Ethernet Converter

The converter works extremely well with the Raspberry Pi4. I was constructing an ethernet to ethernet bridge and this combination gave very high bandwidth/throughput. I would have preferred that the circuit board came in a case though hence 4 rather than 5 stars.
