Built on the Time of Flight (ToF) principle, this sensor provides great accuracy and reliability in distance measurement, with a maximum ranging distance of 12 meters, it offers the capability to accurately measure distances across a good range. The sensor has a very useful high frame rate, which can achieve up to a 1000Hz output frequency. This high-speed data capture allows the sensor to effectively capture rapidly changing environments, making it a perfect fit for real-time applications that demand dynamic responsiveness. Despite its impressive performance, the sensor maintains remarkable energy efficiency, consuming less than 0.7W of power.

The compact design of the sensor is complemented by a minimal detection blind area, measuring less than 10cm. This attribute ensures that objects in close proximity are accurately detected. It supports both UART and I2C interfaces, and with this compatibility enables seamless integration with a wide array of controller boards, including popular platforms like Raspberry Pi, Raspberry Pi Pico, ESP32, and Arduino.

This versatile sensor is great for use with a variety of projects and applications, including robotics, automation, obstacle avoidance, and distance measurement!
