The SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Thing Plus provides you with a quick and easy way to enter into SparkFun's Qwiic ecosystem with your Thing Plus or Feather boards.

Since the Thing Plus and Feather footprints are interchangeable, you can use this shield with any Arduino development board that uses the two! This shield connects the I2C bus (GND, 3.3V, SDA, and SCL) on your Thing Plus to four SparkFun Qwiic connectors (two horizontally and two vertically mounted). The Qwiic ecosystem allows for easy daisy-chaining so, as long as your devices are on different addresses, you can connect as many Qwiic devices as you'd like.

The Qwiic Shield for Thing Plus comes with one 12-pin and one 16-pin headers. You will need to solder the headers to the shield and, if necessary, to your Thing Plus or Feather board. Take care to match the markings on the Qwiic Shield to the appropriate pins on your Thing to avoid possibly damaging your boards.


The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This reduces the amount of required PCB space, and polarized connections mean you can’t hook it up wrong.
