This is a dual-channel solid-state relay module for The Pill by Shelly, controlling two independent DC loads up to 30V/300mA. Great for safe and silent control of lights, fans, or other DC devices. Requires the5-Terminal Add-on to connect with The Pill.
Use the Shelly SSR Add-on to switch on LED strips, fans, or DC motors - right from The Pill by Shelly. Create automated lighting scenes, control ventilation, or power accessories safely and silently. With dual isolated channels, you can manage two independent DC loads at once, bringing precision and convenience to your DIY or professional setup.
Important! The SSR Add-on requires the 5-Terminal Add-on to connect with The Pill. The Pill by Shelly not included.
Low-Voltage Device Control
When you need to switch low-voltage devices, the SSR Add-on lets you control them through The Pill by Shelly. Connect small fans, LED indicators, solenoids, or other 30V DC loads to the add-on's outputs, power the Pill, and link it to your Shelly Smart Control app. Each channel can be automated based on sensor data, schedules, or scenes - so your devices turn on exactly when needed. The Pill by Shelly simply sends the command, and the add-on switches the load safely and reliably.
Automated Valves & Locks
The SSR Add-on lets you automate small solenoids used in door locks, water valves, or simple mechanical latches. Wire the solenoid to one of the SSR channels, connect the add-on to The Pill by Shelly, and control it directly from the Shelly Smart Control app. You can open valves when irrigation is needed, unlock access points remotely, or trigger mechanisms based on sensor readings or schedules. The Pill sends the command, and the SSR handles the switching safely and silently.
DC Fan & Ventilation Control
For ventilation and cooling setups, you can connect low-voltage DC fans to the SSR Add-on and let The Pill manage airflow automatically. Wire the fan to an SSR channel, pair the Pill with the Shelly Smart Control app, and choose when the fan should run - on a schedule or in response to temperature readings. This makes it easy to cool enclosures, refresh air in small spaces, or maintain stable conditions in equipment cabinets. The SSR ensures smooth, silent fan switching.

Do not connect the device to appliances exceeding the given max load.
Use the device only with a power grid and appliances which comply with all applicable regulations. Short circuit in the power grid or any appliance connected to the device may damage the device.
Before starting, wire check that the breakers are turned off and there is no voltage on their terminals. This can be done with a phase meter or multimeter. When you are sure that there is no voltage, you can start wiring the cables.
