A good pair of precision tweezers are essential to the successful soldering of small components, especially SMD/SMT work.

These fine-tip tweezers have a straight profile, ideal for getting a good grip on components. The wider square edge grip is preferred by some to help keep a steady hand. They're anti-static, anti-magnetic and made of hard stainless steel. The tips have a fine (sharp!) point ideal for precision component picking and placing.

This ESD-14 model is just over ~120mm long with a 9mm gap at the tips while open. The tip section is ~12mm.
