This DRS-0101 is a smart servo that combines a motor, gear reducer, control circuitry, and communication in a single package. It provides up to 12kg.cm of torque at 7.4V.
There are two connectors attached to each servo allowing serial connection as well as parallel connection if you need it. It also has different control algorithms such as PID, Feedforward, and Trapezoidal Velocity Profile.
Using the UART serial communications lets you easily adjust speed, position, and LED, and monitor the status of up to 254 servos at once. The servo also provides feedback on internal temperature, position, and overload sensors.
Built-in diagnostics can detect seven different types of errors, which are indicated by an LED. The RGB LED can also be customised for status indication or aesthetical reasons.
