C-Mount Lens for Raspberry Pi HQ Camera - 8mm Focal Length

A good and pretty sharp lens for rpi hq cam. Needs a fair bit of backplate adjustment to get a good focal range and the C adapter that comes with it is a different width to the official one with the rpi hq cam so be ready to tinker to get it to focus to infinity. Loses a star for this slightly non-standard back focal length. Centre is a little soft with the aperture wide open at F1.6, but stopped down to F2 sharpness is improved and still lets in plenty of light. No noticeable vignetting and focal length is very useable. Much better than the long 16mm official lens for a mid range non wide angle option. Also a purely cosmetic thing but the box is all printed back to front. Obviously doesn't affect the lens but clearly there was a mistake there! Maybe doesn't bode well for QC... not even sure how a printing company could do that but it did make me smile!

We were looking for a lens with sufficient resolution to do justice to the Pi HQ camera. This fits the bill exactly.
