The 8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard combines classic design with modern functionality, offering the look and feel of a vintage keyboard with the precision of mechanical switches. It comes with 8BitDo’s specially designed Dual Super Buttons and Super Stick (C64 version only), which are large, programmable keys that let you set macros or map functions instantly, all without the need for software. It is compatible with Windows and Android.
This 87-key keyboard is equipped with Kailh Box White switches V2 for a tactile typing experience, and its hot-swappable PCB allows you to easily change out switches. With support for n-key rollover, double-shot ABS keycaps in an SA profile, and a top mount style, this keyboard is perfect for both retro enthusiasts and modern users. It’s also compatible with 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2 for further customisation, making it a perfect blend of nostalgia and modern performance.
This keyboard comes in 4 editions. C64 (Commodore 64), N, Fami and M editions. Please choose which edition you want before adding it to the cart.
Note: This can be used with Raspberry Pi (Linux) and MacOS, but as the keyboard only "officially" supports Android and Windows, some of the better features of the keyboard won't be available. It will still work as just a keyboard, and the inclusion of the giant A and B buttons in the key set may require some layout tweaking/custom mapping to use.
