The FLIRC Raspberry Pi Zero Case is finally here - exceptionally engineered, affordable and adorable!

The FLIRC Zero shares the same genetics as the original FLIRC case with some added features. FLIRC have kept everything that makes the original case great, shrunk it down, and added some nice elements that make this mini PC for everyday carry.

The familiar aluminium casing with a core heatsink and smooth top is there, offering silent, passive and efficient cooling combined with great looks.

The SD Card is enclosed inside the case so it won't slip out or get stolen. The case needs to be disassembled before the SD card can be removed. There’s even a pre-installed lanyard included in the box in case you want to take your Zero somewhere other than the home.

Two top covers are included with the FLIRC Zero – allowing you to hide away and protect your GPIO, or leave it exposed for prototyping your projects. You can even add a pHAT without worrying about your Zero’s temperature.

  • The Raspberry Pi Zero’s LEDs are not visible with this case
  • Lanyard is removable (but fiddly to get back on)

    Sleek and durable enclosure with great design. The integrated heat sink helps in keeping the Pi cool during operation. I personally use it for the bare C64 emulator, and together with my "lapdock" set up makes for the perfect portable C64!

    I feel that my rpi0 is secure and safe, away from being shorted or crushed in this case. I also enjoy that it is a heatsink to boot. The top can be switched out for permanent access to the GPIO pins.

    A very compact and durable case with a high quality finish. The included lanyard is a nice touch. I think I would prefer the SD card to be accessible without having to disassemble the case.

    This kit is well made, fits the Pi Zero 2w really well, I liked the use of the case as a heatsink. The only draw back is having to remove the pi to replace the SD card, however it also means you are not going to loose your card easily either. The two options for top plates are a great addition allowing you to expose the GPIO ports if required.
