NVDAC for Raspberry Pi 5

The 52Pi NVDAC stands for NVMe & DAC. The DAC and PCIe to NVMe SSD HAT is a comprehensive board designed to augment the audio and storage capabilities of the Raspberry Pi 5.

This versatile add-on combines the acclaimed DAC+ Standard for high-quality audio output and an integrated PCIe slot for accommodating NVMe 2230/2242 SSDs, providing users with an all-in-one solution to elevate their Raspberry Pi 5 projects. The board also includes an IR receiver (pin 22, GPIO 25).

Some simple setup is required, using the existing HiFiBerry dtoverlay in Raspberry Pi OS. Please see the Wiki for assembly and setup instructions.

NVME Compatibility

Some customers have reported compatibility issues with certain brands/models of NVME drives with Raspberry Pi 5.

No 'official' compatibility list is maintained by 52Pi or Raspberry Pi (yet), so we suggest following the same compatibility list on the Pimoroni NVME Base page as a starting point until something official is shared.
