A Soldered \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/arduino-store\" title=\"Arduino Store\"\u003eArduino\u003c\/a\u003e library is available to read these outputs directly.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe board runs from a \u003cstrong\u003e3.3V\u003c\/strong\u003e supply. An onboard \u003cstrong\u003eLDO\u003c\/strong\u003e regulates that down to the \u003cstrong\u003e1.8V\u003c\/strong\u003e the BHI385 needs, and an onboard \u003cstrong\u003eI2C\u003c\/strong\u003e level shifter handles the translation between the \u003cstrong\u003e3.3V\u003c\/strong\u003e logic side and the chip's \u003cstrong\u003e1.8V\u003c\/strong\u003e domain, so no external components are required. It communicates over \u003cstrong\u003eI2C\u003c\/strong\u003e at up to \u003cstrong\u003e400 kHz\u003c\/strong\u003e, with a default address of 0x29; to switch to 0x28, remove the \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/soldering-supplies\" title=\"Soldering Supplies\"\u003esolder\u003c\/a\u003e bridge on JP5 from the 0x29 pad and resolder it onto the 0x28 pad.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe accelerometer covers \u003cstrong\u003e±4 to ±32 g\u003c\/strong\u003e and the gyroscope covers \u003cstrong\u003e±125 to ±2000 dps\u003c\/strong\u003e, both software-selectable. Current draw is about\u003cstrong\u003e 5 µA\u003c\/strong\u003e in sleep mode, \u003cstrong\u003e200 µA\u003c\/strong\u003e with only the accelerometer running, and \u003cstrong\u003e1.4 mA\u003c\/strong\u003e with the accelerometer and gyroscope both active.
