This camera module is designed for the Compute Module 4 (and all previous compute modules) only - it will not work on a normal Raspberry Pi board!
This Arducam Mini High-Quality Camera for the Compute Module 4 offers better value for CM4 users over the standard version, as the Compute Module range does not require camera modules to include the same security chips as standard camera modules. This reduces the cost of these cameras designed specifically for compute modules.
The camera also comes with a 3.9mm focal length M12 lens (which can be changed for other M12 format lenses) and two different camera ribbon cables (regular and Zero size)!
The Mini IMX477 HQ camera module is great for camera projects which require a high-quality camera in a smaller footprint. It also uses the same commands as the Raspberry Pi HQ Camera!
Please note: This is not the Official Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera - this is a compact aftermarket HQ camera option from Arducam designed for the CM4 only. Compute Module 4 and IO board not included.
Space and weight constrained applications such as mobile projects, CCTV, drones or similar can benefit from this camera module as it maintains a similar image performance and same control commands as the official HQ Camera, whilst offering a much smaller size and lighter weight.
This camera module is compatible with M12 format lenses and comes with a 3.9mm focal length M12 lens in the box. Swap the included lens out with our affordable M12 lens options to customise your project to fit your needs!
This 12MP IMX477 camera module has the same camera board size and mounting holes as the Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2 - however the majority of cases and mounts will not fit due to the larger front lens/mount assembly.
